I don't know if this is a seizure or not. If it is, Ben obviously didn't get the memo to give his mom's brain a break!

Seizures?
On Tuesday Ben started rolling his eyes. Except one time at PT, I've only noticed it at mealtimes. On Wednesday, this behavior continued during meals. On Thursday, I began stalking Ben. He still didn't roll his eyes except while eating. So Thursday afternoon I called his neurologist. I was told to try to capture the eye rolling on camera, email it to their office on Monday, and Ben will be scheduled for an EEG later in the week. Of course on Friday, no eye rolling! I just knew that if I called the doctor Ben (my little stinker) wouldn't perform:) In the mean time, I learned that my brand new point and shoot camera is too modern for the operating system on my computer and although it takes crystal clear, HD quality videos I can't upload them to my computer . . . so I repaired my old camcorder by smacking it and found the lost cable to upload the clip to my computer in the basement. At dinner tonight Ben only rolled his eyes once but I was ready!

Grace has been doing a similar eye roll for a month or so, usually just at mealtime or when she's sleepy, and not consistently. We planned to talk to her pediatrician about it this week. Online forums seem to point to this being a common thing that is not a seizure. Here's hoping! Let's keep each other posted.

Oh man, I hope and pray it's not a seizure. Hang in there until you get results. I know that will be a long wait.
I will praying as you find out the answer to this question. I will pray it is not seizures. Hold strong to God's love and guidance as He will be the one to give your brain a break from your worries and concerns about your precious angel.
Oh wow, I freaked out when I saw the title of today's post. I'm joining in the prayers that these are NOT seizures and that the EEG brings some answers.
Hmmm...I'm not sure what he is up to there. I do know that Ben is at the age where they are learning to do silly stuff like that and they think it is neat and will kind of keep doing it...But on the other hand in the video it looks like he is not doing it intentionally.
I hope it is not seizures...When Russell was days old he rolled his eyes like that in front of a Doctor and the Doctor told us he was having seizures and in the weeks to follow he had numerous brain scans...But nothing ever showed up.
Anyway, try not to be to worried...It may be nothing at all. I'll be praying for Ben though. Keep us posted on what happens.
